At SensoryWorks and FarmWorks, we focus on strengthening the connection between the body and brain through nature-based occupational therapy. Incorporating natural elements into therapy has been shown to create a profound calming effect, lower cortisol levels, and reduce anxiety. Nature offers the ideal setting for children to explore, regulate, and grow.

Our services include Occupational Therapy, a Wellness Program, and a unique Horse-Powered Reading Program. We also offer a variety of enriching activities such as Animal Assisted Activities (AAA), a mud kitchen, water play, a swimming pool, and QRI cold laser therapy. These experiences support sensory-motor development, encourage creativity and adaptability, and provide stimulation without the overwhelm of a traditional indoor setting.

The outdoors gives children space for freedom, movement, and exploration, helping to improve social skills and create meaningful shared experiences with peers. AAA can also support emotional, social, and cognitive functioning, and may even assist with specific daily living skills like mobility or caring for pets.
